The Florida Panthers are in desperate need of a victory in the second-round playoff series against the Toronto Maple Leafs as they prepare for Game 3 of the best-of-seven series in Sunrise on Friday (7 p.m. ET, TNT).
Florida trails Toronto two games to none. In NHL playoff history, teams taking a 3-0 series lead have won 98.4% of the time.
The Maple Leafs won the first two games of the series in Toronto, including a 4-3 win Wednesday night in Game 2 behind right winger Mitch Marner’s third-period goal.
Game four in the series is scheduled for Sunday.
