After taking Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, the Florida Panthers look to take control of the series against the Carolina Hurricanes with Game 2 on Thursday night in Raleigh (8 p.m. ET, TNT).
Florida, the defending Stanley Cup champions, stole the first game of the series on Carolina’s home ice with a 5-2 win. Five different Florida players scored goals in the victory.
Florida beat Carolina in two of three head-to-head meetings during the regular season.
If the Panthers can take Thursday night’s game, they could clinch the series at home with wins in Games 3 and 4.
