Gov. Ron DeSantis has named three new members to the Children’s Trust of Miami-Dade County’s Board of Directors and kept one sitting member in place.
The new appointees include Benjamin Nussbaum, Key Biscayne’s Chief Financial Officer; Miriam Soler Ramos, a Holland & Knight partner and former Coral Gables City Attorney; and Luis Suarez, co-founder of law firm Heise Suarez Melville.
Clara Laura Ospina, a psychologist and training director at Jackson Health Systems, will remain on the 33-member Board.
Created in 2002, the Children’s Trust funds programs that support children’s health, safety and development across Miami-Dade through strategic investments and accountability oversight.
