Nearly 49% of all Venezuelan Americans reside in Florida, with many calling South Florida home.
They had plenty to celebrate after opposition leader María Corina Machado won the Nobel Peace Prize for standing up to the Nicolás Maduro regime.
Loser: Maria Zack
Zack was a winner in our last edition after earning the GOP nomination in House District 90. But she’s now facing scrutiny over erroneous campaign finance reports that showed her spending more than she took in.
Those reports required after-the-fact updates and are examples of sloppiness that Zack can’t afford while running in a left-leaning district.
