Republican real estate broker Frank Lago and Democratic assisted-living facility operator Gloria Romero Roses are leading in fundraising for their parties’ Primaries in House District 113.
Lago raised more than $138,000 last quarter, including a $25,000 self-loan and sizable real estate and business donations, outpacing Bruno Barreiro’s mostly self-funded $105,000 and Tony Diaz’s $34,000.
Romero Roses collected $66,000, while Justin Mendoza Routt reported $16,000.
Gov. Ron DeSantis hasn’t set election dates.
The HD 113 seat, representing Key Biscayne and parts of Coral Gables and Miami, has been vacant since former Rep. Vicki Lopez left for the County Commission two months ago.
