The halls are decked at Deering Estate

The Deering Estate is celebrating the 100th year of the Stone House with the entire estate decked out in the historic yuletide glitz and glamor of the early 20th century from now through Jan. 6.

Visitors can experience the magnetism and the exuberance of the era daily from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., not counting Christmas Day. The estate is located at 16701 SW 72nd Ave. in Miami.

More than a dozen Christmas trees have been trimmed, including a 17-foot tree in the Great Hall. Admission is $15 for those 15 and up and $7 for children ages 4 to 14.
