Megan Weinberger, who runs an animal sanctuary and serves on numerous community nonprofit boards, raised more than $92,300 in her first month of campaigning for the job to succeed term-limited Republican Rep. Rick Roth.

The Republican candidate’s biggest donation – $10,000 – came from Raymond Lee Jewelers in Boca Raton. The most famous name on her list of donors is U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, who contributed $100 to her campaign.

Weinberger will be competing with four other Republicans in a Primary to represent House District 94, an inland swath of Palm Beach County that extends between Broward and Palm Beach County.
