Winners: Orlando Lamas, Jorge Santin
Both won seats on the Miami Springs City Council unopposed.
Lamas will be a new face on the Council in Group 3 after finishing behind Santin in a 2023 contest. Santin earned his second two-year stint representing Group 1.
Additional Miami Springs races will be on the ballot in just over a month.
Loser: Jeffrey Siskind
The Wellington lawyer and former Florida Attorney General candidate was disbarred after allegedly misusing millions of dollars from clients.
The decision by the Florida Supreme Court to revoke Siskind’s license comes two years after the Florida Bar filed a complaint.
