South Florida home sales took hits across all three coastal counties, showing falling closings month-to-month and year-over-year.

The Elliman Report analyzed single-family home sales in the tri-county area. Palm Beach had the worst results: 223 newly signed contracts for house sales, down 15.2% compared to October 2023 and a 14.8% drop from September.

Single-family home sales in Broward fared slightly better, falling 4.8% year-over-year to 340 last month, down 11.3% from September.

Miami-Dade, meanwhile, saw home sales decline 3.7% compared to last October but enjoyed a 4% jump monthly, with signings rising from 661 in September to 682 in October.
