Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Wendy Sartory Link is looking for more than a few good men and women — she needs 5,000 workers to fan out over 400 sites to run a successful Election Day.
Poll workers are paid volunteers needed for the August Primary and the General Election in November. Training classes are going to be offered starting in mid-June. Students are welcome, and Palm Beach County’s Adopt-A-Precinct Program offers the opportunity to raise money for your organization, Link says.
Those interested in helping conduct free and fair elections are encouraged to visit VotePalmBeach.gov for more information.
