Miami might be looking for a trade to help frontcourt press

by Margaret Willard

The Miami Heat is looking for frontcourt reinforcements and could trading someone by the NBA deadline this week, the Miami Herald reports.

The team wants someone to team up with Bam Adebayo or Caleb Martin if one the two gets sidelined.

But can they find talent available for trade worthy of giving up a first-round pick? (The team has two that could be used)

New Jersey Nets player Kyrie Irving, declared himself available Friday, but the Heat hadn’t made a move as of Monday. Charlotte forward P.J. Washington is a possibility as is Washington’s Kyle Kuzma, the Herald reported.
