Banned books highlighted at Broward County public libraries

by The 100 Companies

The Broward County Library has an offering to mark yourself as edgy – in a bookish sort of way, of course.

The library system is offering limited edition library cards with flames surrounding the declaration, “I read banned books.” They are bound to go fast as just 1,000 of the cards were printed.

As controversy has erupted over school library collections and age-appropriateness, Broward County’s library system is inviting people to look at books under challenge in the state, featured on the landing page of the library catalog. The system is also hosting Book Sanctuary events at libraries throughout the year.
