Miami-Dade has sided with the Democratic nominee in the past eight Presidential Elections.
That streak may end in November.
Donald Trump is on track to deliver the best performance there by a Republican presidential candidate since 1988, new polling shows.
Miami-based Inquire LLC surveyed 500 likely General Election voters Aug. 22-25. The poll had a 4.5-point margin of error.
Its finding: Trump and Kamala Harris are tied with 47% support each.
Miami-Dade Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera, who commissioned the poll, noted it began on the Democratic National Convention’s final night.
“Their enthusiasm will only go down from here,” he said.
