After a pulsating six-game playoff series last year, the Panthers and the Lightning are ready to go at it again Tuesday in Sunrise.
Florida, the top overall seed in the NHL, eliminated Washington in six games. The two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning took seven games to oust Toronto in a thrilling 2-1 final on Saturday.
However, the Bolts lost star forward Brayden Point to a leg injury in the first period. He did not return and his availability remains unknown.
The Panthers had a 2-1-1 edge over the Lightning in the regular-season.
