After smashing Primary success, ‘MAGA Meg’ Weinberger eyes General Election

Palm Beach Moms for Liberty Chair Meg Weinberger is bound for a General Election fray with ex-Palm Beach Mayor Rachelle Litt after trouncing three fellow Republicans this month.

Weinberger, who runs a local animal sanctuary, rode a wave of donations and Donald Trump-associated endorsements to win her GOP Primary. Her supporters include Trump himself and several others, some of whom dubbed her “MAGA Meg.”

Not backing her was Gov. Ron DeSantis; he endorsed her Primary adversary, Anthony Aguirre.

Weinberg’s now squaring up with Litt, a Democrat who raised $147,500 through mid-August. Weinberger already raised and spent over twice that sum.
