Veteran consultant Christian Ulvert has left Sen. Annette Taddeo’s campaign to become Florida’s first Latina Governor, citing a need to work more on efforts within the Democratic Party.
In a letter to the Florida Bureau of Election Records, Ulvert tendered his resignation as chair of Taddeo’s political committee. He’d worked with Taddeo since 2017, the year she won her Senate seat.
Ulvert explained he stepped down to better focus on the needs of the Senate Democratic Caucus. He did not say if he would also resign from six other political committees the Florida Division of Elections lists him as chairing.
