Is AI the future of computing? Microsoft thinks so – it’s adding a new button to the keyboards of Windows PCs and machines will be showcased at the CES tech show in Vegas next month.
It’s the first change to the Windows keyboard in 30 years. Microsoft Executive VP Yusuf Mehdi says that this is the year of the AI PC, adding “it will empower people.” The copilot key, available to consumers next month, will be located to the right of the space bar and replaces a menu button.
Mehdi says, “The year ahead promises to be nothing short of extraordinary.”
