Can Floridians gamble on this year’s Super Bowl? You bet

by The 100 Companies

Sixty-eight million Americans will wager $23.1 billion Sunday on the Super Bowl, according to the American Gambling Association.

That’s 37% more than last year. Much of it could be because of Florida bettors.

Despite an ongoing court battle with competitors over the legality of a Gaming Compact it struck with Florida in 2021, the Seminole Tribe reopened sports betting in November after getting a Florida Supreme Court OK.

Adults over 21 in Florida unaffiliated with the NFL can bet on the big game at Seminole Tribe casinos, through the Hard Rock Bet app or website, or on a gambling cruise.
