All aboard! Free rides on New River water trolley

Feel like exploring the Venice of Florida? You can take a tour of the historic areas along the New River for free.

LauderGO! is a free water trolley that operates from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.

The service, which is separate from the Water Taxi, is open to all comers via the City of Fort Lauderdale, in partnership with Water Taxi of Fort Lauderdale and Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale.

The trolley has eight places to jump on. Stops are at Esplanade Park, Riverfront Plaza, Plaza, Smoker Park and Downtowner Saloon. Wait time is usually 20-30 minutes, according to the website.
