Democratic candidate Dan Horton-Diaz’s bid to supplant Republican Rep. Jim Mooney in House District 120 now has backing from the Communication Workers of America, one of the nation’s largest media labor unions.
Horton-Diaz’s campaign announced the endorsement, which includes support from two local chapters, noting CWA “has been a leader on advocating for workers’ rights.”
“I’m extremely proud to have CWA’s support,” he said, “and I look forward to fighting the good fight with them in Tallahassee.”
According to CWA Senior Legislative and Political Lead Curtis Hierro, Horton-Diaz “has been an ally of labor in every stage of his career.”
