The city of Boca Raton will mark Memorial Day starting with a cemetery ceremony honoring the sacrifices made for the country’s freedoms and ending the day with an evening filled with patriotic music.
The public is invited at 9 a.m. to the Boca Raton Cemetery – 451 SW Fourth Ave., with seating provided – to hear community and city officials speak.
Later, at 7 p.m., Krescendo, a brass and chamber music group, will entertain with patriotic favorites, from “God Bless America” to pop favorites at the Mizner Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real. Chairs and blankets are welcome to the free event.
