BeLoved Box helps assault victims cope, heal

by

As April marks Sexual Assault Awareness Month, it’s important to recognize the prevalence of assault, especially among Black women. Thirty-five percent of Black women have experienced sexual violence, and for every Black woman who reports sexual assault, at least 15 do not.

Entrepreneur and advocate Dani Spikes candidly shares her story of traumatic assault as a teen and is now committed to helping others.

Her business, BeLoved Box, is rooted in helping to cope and heal. She carries this mission forward on her Facebook and Instagram pages, where she has created online communities to support those in need of self-care and self-love.
