What would be the third major hospital in the northern part of the county is set to go to the Palm Beach Gardens’ Planning and Zoning Board as soon as Jan. 13, according to The Palm Beach Post.
Universal Health Services is proposing a seven-story hospital with a heliport and a four-story office building. It would be on 32 undeveloped acres just east of Interstate 95, along Donald Ross Road.
The hospital is the first proposed since the state process for reviewing the need for a new hospital was eliminated. Palm Beach Gardens’ planning staff is recommending the project’s approval.
