Easy ways to show kindness in North Miami

by The 100 Companies

North Miami Councilwoman Kassandra Timothe wants your help to provide necessities for 600 residents.

The Random Acts of Kindness Initiative collects essentials for seniors.

Local centers identified the primary needs of the residents and are asking for the following items: socks, blankets, body wash, beanies, individually wrapped snacks, non-scented deodorant and lotion.

Meeting these needs is a powerful way for the community to practice random acts of kindness.

Drop items off through Feb. 24 at North Miami City Hall (776 NE 125 St.), North Miami Police Department (700 NE 124 St.) and North Miami Public Library (835 NE 132 St.).
