Former prosecutor to run for Palm Beach State Attorney

by The 100 Companies

Sam Stern, a former federal and local prosecutor, is running for Palm Beach State Attorney.

He’s the first Republican to enter the race to succeed Democrat Dave Aronberg.

Four Democrats have filed: Alexcia Cox, Gregg Lerman, Rolando Silva and Craig Williams.

Stern comes from a family of prosecutors and public servants. His father was a Manhattan Assistant District Attorney. His grandfather was bureau chief in the New York Attorney General’s Office.

After college, Stern worked as a prosecutor in New Jersey and more recently in Palm Beach County under both Republican and Democratic administrations.

He now works in private practice.
