Francis Suarez bashes ‘radical liberal activists’ after ethics complaint dismissal

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez is taking a bitter victory lap after the dismissal of an ethics complaint.

The complaint, filed by Democratic activist Thomas Kennedy, alleged Suarez broke state ethics law by spending city funds while running for President.

Florida Ethics Commissioners tossed the complaint for “lack of legal sufficiency,” ruling he did not act unlawfully by having Miami Police officers accompany him on the campaign trail.

Suarez, who serves in a nonpartisan capacity, released a statement blasting “radical liberal activists” and “local leftist media” for attempting a “coordinated coup” on him.

Three separate probes into alleged bribery are underway.
