After hitting an all-time low in dog adoptions, Palm Beach County’s Animal Care and Control is putting out a call for anyone who’s considering adopting a pet dog to come and rescue.
The facility at 7100 Belvedere Rd. is overpopulated, according to a release from the Palm Beach County government. After a pneumovirus outbreak halted adoptions, 80 dogs are now waiting for their forever home.
The shelter is open weekdays from 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Check out dogs available for adoption here.
