The hits keep coming for the Miami Dolphins.
Not only does an epic, five-game losing streak mean the team has lost the ability to control its playoff destiny, it’s likely the season finale will not have quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in it. The starting quarterback in Sunday’s game against the Jets will likely be left to a seventh-round pick or a veteran player, the Sun Sentinel reported.
A five-game winning streak became a five-game losing slump. The Dolphins might avoid the worst collapse in its history and still make the playoffs if they beat the Jets and the Patriots also lose.
