The show — the Dolphins first playoff appearance since 2016  — will have to go on without the team’s quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Tagovailoa has been ruled out for Sunday’s wild-card round game against the Bills in Buffalo, coach Mike McDaniel announced Wednesday, according to the Miami Herald.

With concussion protocols in place since Dec. 26, Tagovailoa hasn’t been cleared by doctors to resume on-field football activities. Rookie Skylar Thompson will start, while backup Teddy Bridgewater continues to heal from a dislocated pinkie on his throwing hand.

The Dolphins last Sunday snapped a five-game losing streak beating the Jets in a last-chance game.
