Marlins get 2 All-Stars, but one star was overlooked

by The 100 Companies

Despite playing better as a team in 2023, the Miami Marlins are sending only two players to the All-Star game.

Luis Arraez was a shoe-in. He leads the Majors in batting average and flirted with the .400 mark this season.

The other Marlin selected, Jorge Soler, is among baseball’s home run leaders.

Both are very deserving of an All-Star nod, but there was one more Marlin who deserved to be feted as an All-Star: Bryan De La Cruz. The Miami left fielder is on pace to approach 100 RBIs. He was overlooked but could’ve easily made the National League team.
