Dog adoptions via Broward County Animal Care Division are coming to the Swap Shop on Sunrise Boulevard starting this weekend.

The trial phase of the program saw 40% of the dogs brought to the mammoth market getting their forever homes. So, Broward County Commissioner Hazelle P. Rogers and Animal Care Director Emily Wood are having the official kickoff for the new adoption venue at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The address is 3291 W. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. Lifetime friendships will be starting by the garage bay doors to the Ferrari Museum, next to east canopy produce stands and open-air market.
