If you’re leaving on a jet plane for the holidays from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), Broward County Commissioner Lamar Fisher is urging residents to arrive at the airport at least two hours before takeoff if it’s a domestic flight; three hours before if it’s an international flight.
And build in extra time if you’re using a rideshare service, a taxi or you’re getting dropped off, Fisher said in his December newsletter. Terminal roads are going to be busier.
“The Broward County Aviation team reminds residents and visitors that this is one of the busiest times of year.” Fisher wrote.
