If you’re interested in helping warn about oncoming weather events, Broward County is having a virtual SKYWARN Storm Spotters training class April 2.
The 2.5-hour session, developed and taught by National Weather Service, helps you to become a volunteer pair of eyes that can help facilitate alerts that increase public safety.
The class will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30PM. It will be conducted on the GoToMeeting platform. Register with your full name, residential address, email and cell phone number to the email here. Once your registration is accepted, instructors will email you the meeting link and other necessary information.
