South Florida’s Winner and Loser of the Week

Winner: Jared Moskowitz
Moskowitz shined last week in a heated back-and-forth with Republican U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia surrounding some of her rhetoric following the Nashville school shooting. Moskowitz thrashed Republicans for not doing enough to stop gun violence before ending. “You guys are worried about banning books,” he said. “Dead kids can’t read.”

Loser: Donald Trump
He is a South Florida man now, after all. Trump is the first former U.S. President to be indicted, and he is being arraigned Tuesday in New York City. And this likely is not the last legal challenge he’ll be facing.
