South Florida’s Winner and Loser of the Week

Winners: Mindy Koch and Alex Rizo.

Koch now leads Palm Beach County Democrats, while Rizo is the new head of the Miami-Dade GOP. Rizo takes over after Republicans flipped the county last month. Koch has a tougher job, with Republicans making gains in Palm Beach, but is breathing a sigh of relief after securing the position by just one vote.

Loser: Donald Trump.

Another week, another loss for Trump – this time in court. A judge dismissed Trump’s suit pushing for a special master to review documents seized from his Mar-a-Lago estate. Trump is being accused of illegally hoarding classified documents.
